  Abstract

  Lithium batteries as an energy source, has a excellent electrochemical performance. Cathode material is a major factor impact the electrochemical performance of lithium-ion batteries, a large gap between the performance of different battery cathode materials, so the study of cathode materials are also key content of today's battery research in the field. Phosphoric acids salt (LiFePO4, LiMnPO4) physical properties of stability, low toxicity, little pollution low price and so, is an important alternative to LiCoO2 cathode material for lithium ion batteries. LiFePO4 lower voltage platform means lower energy density, which limits its application in the field of high specific energy batteries. LiMnPO4 working voltage is 4.1V, which is 1.2 times the theoretical energy density of LiFePO4. Utilization XRD, SEM and TEM methods, the physical material properties analyzed.
